Two birds find out this fish is Bigger than they first A sequence of still images captured this afternoon in the Coorong National Park South Australia.though...

I captured these 100 frames of this Caspian Tern diving for a Crab with the Sony A9 and Sony 200-600mm G lens at 20 fps still images and put them together for this video clip, impressive results.

Picked up my Sony 200-600mm f5.6-6.3 G lens today and thought I would try out the Auto Focus tracking on some birds in flight, straight at the camera at speed is always the hardest for tracking systems and this lens held up quite well, its only early but I think the Sony 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 GM is a tad faster and a bit more responsive, still, pretty happy with the results...

Always a fun challenge for your BIF tracking skills and your camera's auto focus tracking when trying to capture small fast little birds in flight like this Sacred Kingfisher today.

Had a truly epic day capturing one of my favorite birds, those speedy little Rainbow Bee-eaters, always a lot of fun trying to make an image of these incredibly beautiful and very fast little birds. Had a great morning visiting the Tolderol Game Reserve, was wanting to capture the beautiful little Golden-Headed Cisticola and was not disappointed, this beautiful little bird was putting on a great show singing his little heart out in the morning sun.

This Little Black Cormorant catches the fish out of the corner of my eye, I managed to capture this sequence of him swallowing this rather large fish down his throat. this is a sequence of still images taken with the Sony A9 at 20fps and the 100-400mm GM lens.

A Great Eastern Egret gets a surprise and out done by a Caspian tern diving and catching a lot larger fish only meters away - very funny to see the surprised look on the Egret Captured using the Canon 1DX Mk2 and Canon 500mmf4 lens
